About Me

My work includes drama (my latest play Escape Routes is at Edinburgh Fringe 07 - see next webpage) and poetry (which I perform, e.g.last June at Glastonbury Festival Poet's Tent). I've also published specialist non-fiction books and articles, arising from my legal background and work as a lawyer.

Recently I completed a fantasy novel, 'The Fixed Lands', as part of my MA in Creative Writing with Manchester Met Uni (distinction awarded). This is now with a new publisher Writers of Worlds, specialising in sci-fi/fantasy and set to launch soon.

Based in North Yorkshire, I still 'get about a bit', often in London. I give performances/talks to groups, schools and conferences, and have been a guest speaker on writers' courses. I am also a member of the Society of Authors, Society of Women Writers and Journalists and Script Yorkshire.
